Bargarh, May 16: Pradeep Purohit discussed several important issues related to the Bargarh Lok Sabha constituency with Mohan Charan Majhi at the Chief Minister’s residence yesterday for a long duration.
The discussion covered various public and developmental concerns, including:
Farmers’ issues
The Bargarh–Nuapada railway line
Construction of a ropeway from Nrusinghanath Temple to Harishankar Temple
A permanent solution to the severe drinking water problem in Padampur
Immediate operationalization of the Bargarh Cancer Hospital
Re-establishment of the Bargarh sugar mill, similar to those revived in other districts
Providing employment opportunities for local youth in industrial units established in Jharsuguda
Several other regional issues and public concerns were also discussed during the meeting.
