Bhubaneswar, May 16: Honourable Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi attended the “Somnath Swabhiman Parva” program organized at the sacred shrine of Lord Lingaraj in Ekamra Kshetra on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the restoration of the Somnath Temple. Highlighting the deep and invisible bond between Lord Somnath and Lord Lingaraj Temple, the Chief Minister said that if Somnath is the western sentinel of India, then Lingaraj stands as the unwavering strength of the East.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister delivered an address emphasizing the protection of Indian culture and the development of Shaivite pilgrimage centers, while also recalling the struggle-filled history of Lord Somnath. Referring to the development of Odisha, he clearly stated that the people’s government is committed to strengthening the cultural and spiritual foundations of the state.
