Koraput: DMF Executive Council Reviews Progress of Welfare and Infrastructure Projects in Mining-Affected Regions

Koraput: Oct 6 [UDN}:An Executive Council meeting of the District Mineral Foundation (DMF), Koraput, was held today at the District Collector’s Conference Hall under the chairmanship of the District Collector.

During the meeting, the progress of various ongoing development projects being implemented in mining-affected areas of the district was reviewed in detail. The meeting assessed the status of projects undertaken to improve basic amenities and strengthen socio-economic infrastructure in areas impacted by mining activities.

Detailed discussions were also held on proposals for new development projects focusing on key sectors such as drinking water, education, healthcare, livelihood promotion and infrastructure development. The proposed interventions are aimed at addressing the needs of communities living in mining-affected areas and improving access to essential services and livelihood opportunities.

The meeting also reviewed the implementation status of existing DMF-funded initiatives and deliberated on measures required for their timely completion and effective delivery of benefits to the affected communities.
