Bhubaneswar, Aug 17 [UDN}:The academic and institutional scope of Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) is set to expand, with plans to establish four additional new colleges across the state. The move is aimed at strengthening agricultural education and providing more opportunities for students interested in pursuing higher studies in agriculture and allied fields.
As part of this expansion, a new Agriculture College in Mayurbhanj district has begun the admission process with 60 seats. The opening of the college is expected to create greater access to professional agricultural education for students from Mayurbhanj and neighbouring districts.
The expansion of OUAT and the establishment of new colleges are expected to contribute to the development of skilled human resources in agriculture, while also supporting research, modern farming practices and agricultural innovation across Odisha.
