Bhubaneswar, July 13 (UDN): A motorcycle was allegedly stolen from the parking area of a car showroom near CRP Square in Nayapalli in broad daylight, with the incident captured on CCTV cameras.
The theft reportedly occurred when the owner parked his motorcycle at the showroom premises before entering the facility. The accused allegedly waited for an opportunity, approached the parked vehicle, and fled with it within a short period.
After discovering that the motorcycle was missing, the owner lodged a complaint at Nayapalli Police Station. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
Officials are examining the CCTV footage to identify the suspect and trace the stolen vehicle. The footage is expected to provide crucial leads in the ongoing investigation.
The incident has once again highlighted concerns over vehicle theft in the city, with authorities focusing on strengthening surveillance and taking necessary measures to prevent such incidents.
