Bhubaneswar, July 17 [UDN}: In a major technological breakthrough, India’s Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has developed an advanced Quantum Network aimed at securing military communications against spying and cyber threats. The new technology uses the principles of quantum mechanics to create highly secure communication channels that are extremely difficult to intercept or hack.
The quantum communication system is expected to significantly enhance the security of sensitive defence data and strategic information shared among the Indian Armed Forces. This development marks a major step towards strengthening India’s indigenous defence capabilities and achieving self-reliance in advanced military technologies.
Experts believe that the adoption of quantum networking will provide India with a strong edge in future warfare and cybersecurity, making the nation’s defence infrastructure more robust and resilient against modern security challenges.
