11th April 2025: The vibrant town of Keonjhar is currently hosting the 39th National Sub-Junior Handball Championship, bringing together the energy and passion of young athletes from across India. On the third day of the event, Honourable Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi graced the occasion and extended his warm encouragement to all participants, igniting enthusiasm and pride among players and spectators alike.

This prestigious national tournament features 432 players from 24 states, supported by a team of over 150 officials. The event not only highlights the rising talent in Indian handball but also marks a significant moment for Odisha in promoting grassroots sports and youth development.
