26th March 2025: On Children’s Day, the Odisha Government introduced the ‘Dullar’ program in all Anganwadi Kendras, aiming to enhance early childhood development. This initiative underscores the critical role of Anganwadi workers in providing essential nutrition, education, and healthcare to children, shaping a brighter future for them.

At the Triennial Conference of the Akhil Bharatiya Anganwadi Karmachari Mahasangha, Odisha recognized its 74,000 Anganwadi centers and over 1.3 lakh workers for their dedication to child and maternal care.
To further support these workers, the state is offering Rs. 1,500 to Anganwadi Karmacharis and Rs. 500 to Sahayikas, acknowledging their vital contribution to the success of these programs.
