Bhubaneswar, Sept 9 [UDN}:The Odisha Yatri Safety App has been launched in Bhubaneswar with a range of features aimed at enhancing passenger safety and providing quick assistance during emergencies. The app includes a One-Click SOS facility, allowing users to send an emergency alert instantly with a single tap.
It also comes with a Shake & Alert feature, through which users can trigger an alert simply by shaking their mobile phone in a distress situation. Another key feature is Live Location Sharing, enabling users to share their real-time location with family members, friends, or other trusted individuals when they feel unsafe or require assistance.
The application also provides a Trusted Contact facility, allowing users to stay connected with selected people who can be alerted during emergencies. In addition, users can get quick access to emergency services, helping them seek immediate assistance whenever required.
The launch of the Odisha Yatri Safety App is expected to strengthen safety measures for passengers and provide them with a convenient digital tool for seeking help during travel, particularly in emergency or potentially unsafe situations.
