Bhubaneswar, Oct 9 [UDN}: President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to undertake a two-day visit to Odisha on October 27 and 28, with a programme in Rairangpur in Mayurbhanj district.
According to the information shared by Satya News Odisha, the President will arrive in Rairangpur on October 27 and return on October 28. Preparations for her visit are reportedly being finalised by the district administration and concerned authorities.
A major eye-care camp is also being organised in Rairangpur in connection with the visit. The five-day camp is scheduled to be held from October 26 to 30, with more than 100 eye-care specialists from Delhi expected to participate.
During the camp, patients will receive eye examinations, medical consultations and necessary treatment services. Special attention will reportedly be given to people from remote and underserved areas, enabling them to access advanced eye-care facilities closer to home.
The President is expected to join the eye-care camp during her Rairangpur visit. The initiative is expected to benefit a large number of people requiring eye-related medical consultation and treatment.
Authorities are currently working on arrangements for the President’s Odisha visit, including security, medical facilities, logistics and other necessary preparations.
