Bhadrak, June 2: Renowned poet Nirupama Pani, wife of late Pradeepta Pani from Binatara village near Chandbali, has been honored with the title of “Realist Poet” by Rajashree Kala O Sahitya Sansad, a leading literary institution of the state located at Koro in Kendrapara district.
It is worth mentioning that Nirupama Pani’s poetry collections “Akuha Katha” (“Unspoken Words”) and “Ichhamaya Tume” (“You Are the Embodiment of Desire”) have already been published and widely appreciated in literary circles. She has also been honored with various titles and recognitions by several literary, educational, and social organizations across the state.
During the 36th state-level poets’ and literary conference organized by Rajashree Kala O Sahitya Sansad, several distinguished personalities attended the event. Among them were chief guest Dr. Das Benhur, Rajashree president and eminent spontaneous poet Hemanta Kumar Jena, chief advisor and Assembly Secretary Dasharathi Satpathy, senior journalist Sriram Das, noted litterateur Jayanta Kumar Das, acclaimed poet Sanjaya Kumar Rath, and Raj Bhavan Information and Public Relations Officer as well as poet Dr. Rakshak Nayak. They all extended heartfelt congratulations and praise to poet Nirupama Pani for her literary achievements.
