Koraput:Sept 24 [UDN}: In accordance with the directions of the Election Commission of India (ECI), an important meeting on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Rolls-2026 was held at the Conference Hall of the Koraput District Collectorate.
The meeting was attended by officials of the Koraput district administration and representatives of all recognised political parties. Detailed discussions were held on various aspects of the electoral roll revision process, particularly regarding new additions, deletions and corrections to be incorporated in the final electoral roll.
The representatives were apprised of the revision-related procedures and the proposed changes in the electoral rolls. The meeting provided an opportunity for the recognised political parties to place their views and discuss issues concerning the accuracy and updating of the final voter list in the district.
