Bhubaneswar, Oct 8 [UDN}:Road Safety Strengthened Through Driver Skill Development and Employment Opportunities
Priority is being given to strengthening road safety by enhancing the skills of vehicle drivers and creating better employment opportunities for them.
As part of this initiative, campus placement programmes are being organised at the four Institute of Driving Training and Research (IDTR) centres across Odisha. A mega recruitment drive was successfully conducted at IDTR Keonjhar, witnessing enthusiastic participation from trained candidates.
A total of 185 candidates participated in the recruitment drive, out of whom 97 candidates were selected by various reputed companies. The initiative is aimed at providing skilled drivers with suitable employment opportunities while simultaneously contributing to safer roads across the state
