Timely Rescue Brings Relief as 13 Farmers Saved from Rising River Waters in Bolangir

Bolangir, July 30 (UDN): A coordinated rescue effort helped save 13 farmers who were trapped in the flooded Undar River in Odisha’s Bolangir district after heavy rainfall caused water levels to rise.

The farmers were stranded in the river area as floodwaters surrounded them, leaving them unable to return safely. After receiving information, teams from the local Fire Services and Titilagarh administration quickly reached the spot and began the rescue operation.

Working through difficult conditions, the rescue teams successfully brought all 13 farmers to safety during a late-night operation. The farmers were found safe after the rescue and received necessary support from the authorities.

With monsoon rains continuing across the region, officials are keeping a close watch on vulnerable areas and taking steps to respond to any emergency situations.
