Kotpad, July 2 {UDN}: The “Vikasara Dhara, Odisha Sara” (The Stream of Development Across Odisha) public outreach programme was successfully organized in the Chhatarla, Chitra, and Gumuda Gram Panchayats under the jurisdiction of the Kotpad Panchayat Samiti. The initiative was conducted with the objective of highlighting the Odisha Government’s ongoing developmental initiatives, welfare schemes, and people-centric governance model.
During the programme, government officials, elected representatives, and local residents actively participated in discussions on various flagship schemes and development projects being implemented in the region. The event served as an important platform to create awareness among the people about government welfare programmes, infrastructure development, rural empowerment initiatives, healthcare, education, livelihood opportunities, agricultural support, and social security measures.
Special emphasis was placed on informing beneficiaries about the progress achieved in different sectors and encouraging greater public participation in the state’s development journey. The programme also provided an opportunity for citizens to interact directly with officials, share their feedback, and learn about the benefits available under various government schemes.
