Bhubaneswar, November 2: The regional meteorological center has announced that there is currently no indication of any cyclonic activity in the region. According to director Manoroma Mohanty, there are no systems in place that would lead to the formation of a low-pressure area in the coming days.
Mohanty stated that the weather is expected to remain primarily dry until November 5. However, light rain may occur in some coastal districts on November 6 and 7. The winds are currently blowing from the northeast, bringing dry air to the region. This mix of local air and dry winds may lead to isolated rainfall in certain areas.
While there is a possibility of rain in various districts on Friday, there are no warnings issued for Saturday.
In the twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, there has been significant rainfall recently, disrupting daily life. Rain began unexpectedly on Thursday morning, leading to waterlogging in several areas.
The regional water resources department in Bhubaneswar has issued a yellow warning for Khordha district, indicating the likelihood of heavy rain for up to three hours.
