Congress Conducts BLA-2 Training Programme at Kotpad Kalyan Mandap, Focusing on Special Intensive Revision and Effective Booth-Level Coordination

Bhubaneswar,  July 30 UDN}:  A constituency-level training camp for Congress party’s Booth Level Agents (BLA-2) was organised at the Kotpad Kalyan Mandap in connection with the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. The training programme was aimed at strengthening the party’s election machinery at the grassroots level and ensuring that the BLA-2 representatives are fully prepared to assist in the voter-list revision process.

During the training session, participants were reportedly briefed on the various aspects of the SIR exercise, including the verification and updating of electoral roll details, identification of eligible voters, correction of discrepancies in voter information, and ensuring that no eligible voter is left out of the electoral rolls. The BLA-2 representatives were also guided on their responsibilities and the procedures to be followed while coordinating with election officials during the revision process.

Congress leaders and party workers emphasised the importance of maintaining accuracy and transparency throughout the electoral roll revision exercise. The training was also intended to help party representatives effectively monitor the process at the booth level and raise issues related to voter registration, deletion, correction, or other discrepancies, wherever necessary.

A large number of Congress workers and BLA-2 representatives from the Kotpad Assembly constituency participated in the training camp. The programme concluded with a call to all party representatives to remain vigilant and actively participate in the SIR process so that the electoral rolls remain accurate, updated, and inclusive.
