In a significant cultural initiative, Mohan Charan Majhi releases the Odia Daily Diary to encourage wider use of the Odia language in everyday life.

Bhubaneswar, April 22:  In a significant initiative, the first “Odia Dainandini” (daily diary), jointly prepared by Bada Khabar and Samalochana, was officially released today.
The diary was inaugurated by Mohan Charan Majhi at the Chief Minister’s chamber in the State Secretariat (Lok Seva Bhavan).
On this occasion, key dignitaries present included Chief Editor Adhendu Das of Bada Khabar and Samalochana, Deputy Chief Whip of the ruling party Gobinda Chandra Das, CEO of Bada Khabar Kirrk Ray, news presenter Ramachandra Meher, and reporter Prashanti Das, among others.
The launch of this Odia daily diary is seen as a meaningful step towards promoting the use of the Odia language in everyday life.
