Khaligajen , Aug 3 [UDN}:A new School Management Committee has been constituted at Maa Khaligajen High School, located at Tentulipada in Chandahandi. The committee was formed during a meeting attended by parents and other stakeholders of the school. At the meeting, Mahadev Majhi was unanimously elected as the Chairman of the newly formed committee.
The newly constituted committee will work under the guidance and supervision of the Headmaster to complete the school’s pending developmental works and take initiatives to improve the quality of education for the students. Villagers and parents have expressed hope that the new committee will play an active role in strengthening the school’s academic environment, improving infrastructure, and ensuring the overall development and welfare of the students.
It is noteworthy that the school was established in 1997 as a private institution through the dedicated efforts of the late retired teacher Udayanath Jagat, with generous support and cooperation from local residents. The institution began with the collective vision of providing educational opportunities to children in the area.
After serving the community independently for many years, the school achieved a significant milestone when, after 17 years, it was brought under the State Government’s Block Grant system. This recognition provided the institution with greater administrative and financial support, helping it continue its mission of delivering quality education to students in the region.
The formation of the new management committee is expected to further strengthen the school’s administration, accelerate pending development projects, and contribute to creating a better learning environment for present and future generations of students.
