OPD and Patient Care Affected as OMSA Intensifies Indefinite Agitation for 10-Point Demands, Backed by SCB Junior Doctors’ Association

Bhubaneswar:July 1 {UDN}:   Patient care services have been suspended indefinitely as the Odisha Medical Services Association (OMSA) launched an agitation over its 10-point charter of demands. The Junior Doctors’ Association of SCB Medical College and Hospital has extended its support to OMSA’s demands.

The protest is expected to impact healthcare services at several government hospitals across the state. Emergency services are likely to continue, while routine medical services may face disruptions. The state government is expected to hold discussions with the association to resolve the deadlock.
