The Legislative Assembly Public Undertakings Committee’s visit to Konark focused on evaluating ongoing projects, infrastructure development, and the effective utilization of public resources.

Konark,July 15 [UDN}:: On Thursday afternoon, a four-member team of the Odisha Legislative Assembly Public Undertakings Committee, led by its Chairman and Simulia MLA Padmalochan Panda, along with Jaleswar MLA Ashwini Patra, Chitrakonda MLA Mangu Khila, and Khandapada MLA Dushmanta Kumar Swain, visited Konark to review the infrastructure of tourist destinations managed by various government undertakings.

The committee first visited Ramachandi and inspected the tourism infrastructure available there. They also examined other aspects and requirements necessary for the further development of the tourist destination.

Later, the team visited Konark Yatri Niwas, where they held a high-level meeting with Tourism Department Additional Secretary Rudra Narayan Dash, Yatri Niwas Manager Bapi Ranjan Sahu, and other tourism officials.

Afterward, the committee inspected the Konark Sun Temple and the Interpretation Centre before departing for Bhubaneswar.
