On February 5, 2025, Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, launched the “Vikashita Gaon, Vikashita Odisha” (Developed Village, Developed Odisha) program at a state-level ceremony in Jankia, Khordha district. This program aims to transform rural areas of Odisha by improving infrastructure and providing essential services that are crucial for the well-being of local communities.

During the event, Chief Minister Majhi highlighted the significance of rural development and its role in raising the standard of living for people in these areas.
