Development Projects in Lakhanpur Come Under Close Scrutiny as Jharsuguda District Collector Reviews Progress of Key Government Initiatives

Jharsuguda: June 11:After the conclusion of the joint public grievance hearing camp in Lakhanpur block, the district administration conducted field visits to review various ongoing developmental works in different areas. Jharsuguda District Collector Kunal Motiram Chavan and Lakhanpur BDO Binay Kumar Patel visited several locations and assessed land development and infrastructure projects.

Initially, the officials inspected the construction progress of the road extending from Dayadera through Jhargaon village under Kanaktora Gram Panchayat up to the famous “Jhat Jharan” tourist destination. The District Collector directed officials to maintain the quality of the road to ensure smooth transportation and convenience for tourists.

Later, the District Collector and the BDO visited the site of the under-construction Revenue Dak Bungalow at Kanaktora. They held discussions with the Assistant Executive Engineer of the concerned department regarding the progress of the tender process and technical aspects of the project. The District Collector instructed officials to complete the process quickly and expedite the construction work.

During the visit, the District Collector also inspected the Multipurpose Flood and Cyclone Shelter at Kanaktora and reviewed the available facilities there. He advised BDO Mr. Patel to ensure preparedness and necessary amenities at the center for the safety of local residents during emergency situations.
Other departmental officials were also present during the administrative field visit.
