Rayagada,Sept 25 [UDN}: Vehicular movement on National Highway-326 between Koraput and Rayagada has been disrupted after water began flowing over the Chhotaguda bridge following incessant rainfall in the region.
Hundreds of vehicles have reportedly been stranded on both sides of the bridge as the rising water level has made passage difficult.
The disruption comes amid continuous heavy rainfall in Koraput district under the influence of a deep depression, leading to a rise in water levels in several rivers and streams across the district.
Authorities have urged commuters and vehicle drivers to exercise caution while travelling through vulnerable stretches and avoid attempting to cross flooded roads or bridges.
