Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test Registration Window Now Open Till May 9 After Deadline Extension Announcement

Cuttack, April 20:: The application deadline for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET)–2026 has been extended till May 9 by the board.
Earlier, the last date to apply was Thursday midnight. However, as many candidates were unable to submit their applications within the stipulated time, the board has provided another opportunity for OTET aspirants.
So far, more than 70,000 candidates have applied for the examination. It is also reported that many in-service teachers are among the applicants. With the deadline extended by nearly a month, more candidates are expected to apply, and the total number of applicants may cross one lakh
