Vigilance Awareness Week 2024 Celebrated by PNB Sambalpur Circle

Sambalpur, Nov 4: The Punjab National Bank (PNB) Sambalpur circle observed Vigilance Awareness Week 2024 from October 21 to November 4, in alignment with the directives of the Central Vigilance Commission. This initiative aims to promote awareness about vigilance and integrity among employees and the community.

To mark the occasion, the bank organized a walkathon led by Ajit Kumar Meher, the Circle Head. The event commenced at the PNB circle office in Budharaja and concluded at the CDS branch in Ainthapali. Participants included bank staff and community members, all committed to raising awareness about the importance of vigilance in financial institutions and beyond.

Vigilance Awareness Week serves as a reminder of the essential role that integrity and transparency play in maintaining the trust of customers and stakeholders. The event also highlighted the collaborative efforts of various banks and institutions in fostering a culture of accountability.

Throughout the week, PNB and other participating institutions, including LIC, HDFC Bank, and Infosys, engaged in various activities aimed at promoting ethical practices in business and governance. These initiatives emphasized the need for vigilance against corruption and the importance of upholding high ethical standards in all operations.
