Bhubaneswar, Odisha,3rd July: Odisha is rapidly transforming into a digitally empowered state, making governance more accessible, transparent, and people-centric. Through a series of digital initiatives, the state government is reshaping how public services are delivered, ensuring that benefits reach citizens efficiently and directly.

Seamless Access to Revenue Services Through ‘e-Registration App’

One of the standout achievements in this digital revolution is the launch of the e-Registration App, which has made key revenue services more user-friendly. Citizens can now easily:

  • Book time slots for appointments,
  • Apply for certified copies of documents,
  • Submit applications for encumbrance certificates (EC),all from the convenience of their mobile devices, eliminating long queues and bureaucratic delays.

Empowering Workers With the ‘Odisha Shramik Sathi App’

In a significant step towards labor welfare, the Odisha Shramik Sathi App has been developed to support the state’s vast workforce. With a simplified and streamlined registration process, workers can now access vital benefits and services with ease. The app acts as a digital companion, ensuring that every registered laborer is informed, included, and empowered.

Direct Benefit Transfer Ensures Transparency and Speed

Under the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mechanism, financial assistance from government schemes is being credited directly to beneficiaries’ bank accounts. This has drastically reduced leakages and delays, ensuring that the right people receive the right support at the right time — with full transparency.

Digitizing Panchayati Raj for Grassroots Governance

To further strengthen rural administration, platforms like the e-Panchayat Sabha Portal, PPMAS Portal, and Panchayat Monitoring System have been launched. These tools enable real-time monitoring, efficient decision-making, and greater accountability in the delivery of services at the village level. Local governance has become more interactive and responsive, bringing decision-making closer to the people.
