Bhubaneswar, Aug 8 [UDN}: Farmer registration for the Kharif Paddy Procurement Season 2026–27 has officially commenced. The registration process will continue until August 31, 2026.
Eligible farmers can register either through their Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society (PACS) or by visiting the Food Odisha portal (www.foododisha.in). To complete the registration, farmers must provide their Aadhaar Card and details of the land where paddy is cultivated.
The government has scheduled the paddy procurement period from November 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027, ensuring that registered farmers can sell their paddy under the procurement scheme during this period.
