The state government is prioritizing the strengthening of its legal framework, particularly in preventing cybercrimes. As part of this effort, plans are in place to open 20 cyber police stations across the state. Additionally, road safety measures are being enhanced with the creation of 2,000 new traffic police positions to better manage traffic and ensure road safety.
The government also emphasized stricter night-time patrolling to protect citizens and ensure safety during evening hours. Special attention will be given to Maoist-affected areas to improve security and stability in those regions.
These measures reflect the government’s commitment to creating a safer Odisha, with a focus on proactive steps to safeguard the well-being of its people.
